MATERIAL: Thread, ink print on silk screen, stainless steel frame

The two ends of this work are transparent silk screens inlaid into the stainless steel rack which stretches two meters between them. A celebrity’s portrait is printed on each of the two silk screens, and the two mirror images are delicately connected along the contour by colorful threads.  When a thread penetrates the space horizontally between the two silk screens, it is both a part of the figure printed on one side and a dot composing the contour of the reproduced image on the other. The colorful threads weave through space, back and forth countless times, between the two sides, demonstrating continuous action and transformation of identity.
